"In 2022, my then 10-year-old daughter and I were looking for something we could do together for bonding time. We learned about Seauxing Seeds through Facebook and decided to schedule an introductory sewing class together. We both came into it knowing absolutely NOTHING about sewing. In truth, I didn't expect to enjoy it, but we both fell in love. Over the last year, we've progressively gone through different courses and programs like the kids' camps. Each time, we walk away so fulfilled, confident, and excited about what we've learned and what we've made. Sewing skills are becoming increasingly rare, and it feels like we're part of a secret club of those who "get it." It is my hope that we continue to grow our skills and the wonderful friendships we've made along the way with Kathy, Connie, and Angel".

"Being able to give back is truly a blessing but with so many wonderful charitable organizations the question of where often arises. My parents were magnificently talented and creative individuals. My mother's artistic abilities were varied and prolific. Her paintings in oil, watercolor, pastels, and pen and ink graced our walls for years. In later life, she devoted her skills to sewing and quilting. Now, as my wife and I begin the inevitable process of downsizing, we questioned what we would do with all of my mother's beloved items. As an answer to our prayers, Seauxing Seeds Foundation was recommended to us as a ministry that promotes the education and art of sewing, and the [sewing] industry while providing services to support a number of community partners in need. We found it to be the perfect outlet to donate equipment, supplies, and beautiful quilts that exemplify my mother's talents and the love of sewing she put into each original piece."

“I have absolutely found a home at Seauxing Seeds that I can't say enough wonderful things. I was a fashion designer who didn't know how to sew so I found a place to take lessons as I was coming up on a fashion show. I found them right down the street from my house and they offer classes of all levels, has open sewing studio time, AND does charity work like making dog beds for the Humane Society 🥹🙏🏼 My growth here has been TREMENDOUS! I not only learned how to sew but I was able to sew most of my collection with their support and they even came to my fashion show. I am now a regular and am so thankful for the women and the work they do for the community!”
