Young Students help continue
the Art of Sewing at
Seauxing Seeds Studio

Summer Campers learned to sew bedside caddies, snack sacks and pajama pants at the Studio this year! We also held a number of private and semi-private sessions for young students and welcomed student volunteers who earned service hours for their assistance in making dog beds for animal shelters

DONATIONS NEEDED!

Seauxing Seeds Foundation operates SOLELY ON DONATIONS to help us keep “Seauxing On”!
Fabric and notion donations are merchandised for sale in our “Seaux Mart “store, while monetary donations directly help toward our operating expenses. In addition to cash donations, we also accept gift cards (Walmart, The Home Depot, Amazon, Joann’s, and Hobby Lobby).
While we value all donations, please understand that our resources are limited to the number of volunteers who assist in processing the items received. Therefore, we can only accept FABRICS as follows:

-
Fabrics that are NOT soiled, stained, or contain pet hair (including fabric scraps that are donated as dog bed fill).
-
Fabrics that are NOT clothing (including t-shirts) due to the physical effort necessary to process these.
Due to our limited storage space, we will gladly consider other types of donations, such as machines or items not directly related to sewing, on an individual basis.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support of Seauxing Seeds Foundation!

We are currently seeking donations to fund scholarships to allow for enrollment of students who are not able to afford class tuition. It is our goal that we will eventually operate without having to turn a single student away for reasons of financial need. Your generous support will allow this to take place! The Donate button on this website will also allow for donations to be made in honor of someone you love!
We are always seeking volunteers at our studio! We welcome volunteers of all ability levels to help with sorting, measuring, ironing and cutting donated fabric and cutting fabric for quilting and other class projects. We are also in need of class assistants for our instruction classes. In addition, service hours are given for our high school student volunteers.
